london 1978: einige an clubbing und dressing up interessierte (ex-) punks haben die nase voll von damals grassierender uniformität/ dogmatismus/ aggro ihrer stammsubkultur und starten eine eigene clubnacht mit alter musik (BOWIE/ glamrock) und neuem anspruch: glamourös, tendenziell gender-bender, nicht selten queer. diese NEW ROMANTICS tanzen bald auch zu KRAFTWERK und dem neuen cutting edge SYNTHPOP und stürmen schließlich mit eigenen bands und NEW POP nicht nur in uk die charts. nun wollen wir diese atemberaubende kultur der NEW ROMANTICS ein weiteres mal feiern mit dem mysteriösen DJ WYNTON WEIRDDH, der euch NEW ROMANTIC club classix aus den FRÜHEN ACHTZIGERN serviert: SYNTHWAVE/POP, ROBOBOP, BLITZFUNK. NEW POP, dazu handverlesener GLAM (bowieroxy+) und auch a bisl ELECTROCLASH thrown in for good measure.
