Ihr Lieben! Wir würden nach dem wilden Konzert letzte Woche gerne ein wenig chillen, und euch dazu einladen. Wir treffen uns morgen spontan zum FLINTA* Kneipenabend in der BaariBar (Cafe Trauma, Afföllerwiesen 3A) mit guter Musik und kalten Getränken (auch Oe Tea in diversen Sorten!). Der Gang_350 [Synth-Punk aus FFM]
Der Gang_350 ist eine Art Mischung aus DAF und Future Islands gepaart mit Standpauken die an Human Abfall oder deutsche The Fall erinnern. Das Duo sagt selbst, es sei ein Synth-Punk-Duo. Genauso breit gefächert wie das Genre dürfte wohl auch die Gruppe der Adressat*innen sein: ob NDW-Fans die sich durch das repetitive Wiederholen von Phrasen an Trio oder Dorau erinnert fühlen, E-Boys und E-Girls packt die Tanzwut ähnlich wie bei Molchat Doma und Edwin Rosen und auch (Post)Punks kommen durch das teilweise aggressive Entgegenkeifen der Lyrics auf ihre Kosten (Pretty in Noise).

Attic Ocean haben sich 2019 in Düsseldorf gegründet und bringen seit 2022 Songs mit Einflüssen aus Shoegaze und Dreampop auf die Bühne. Die fünf Mitglieder verbindet die Liebe zu sphärischer und verträumter Musik. Mit ihrem Debütalbum August / Glass konnte die Band sowohl national als auch international Aufmerksamkeit erregen und wurde sogar im kalifornischen Radio auf DKFM (The Shoegaze Collective) gespielt. Im Juni 2023 erschien die zweite Hälfte ihrer Debüt-EP the heavy blue and then after. Attic Ocean sind ihrem nostalgisch-melodiösen Sound mit deutlich hörbaren Wurzeln im Shoegaze und Indie der 90er Jahre treu geblieben. Wer ihre Songs hört, wird feststellen, wo die Einflüsse liegen: atmosphärische Gitarrensounds und verträumt-melodischer Gesang wie bei den COCTEAU TWINS. Sie stehen aber auch im Zeichen der Neunziger Jahre wie SLOWDIVE oder MY BLOODY VALENTINE, aber auch die tanzbaren Rhythmen von RIDE oder DIIV finden sich bei ihnen wieder.
